deces.lu brings together two things families usually have to look for separately after a death: reliable information about Luxembourg formalities, and practical support with the property.
Why this site exists
The information exists, but scattered between communes, funds, notaries and administrations, and rarely in the country's three languages. We gathered what a family needs to know, in the order they need it.
What we do
We value, prepare and sell estate properties in Luxembourg. We work with notaries, building managers and energy assessors, and we handle files where several heirs have to reach agreement.
What we do not do
We do not give legal or tax advice: that is the notary's and the tax adviser's work. And we do not buy the properties we value, so that our figure stays credible.
Our commitment
An honest valuation, even when it disappoints. A frank view on whether to sell or wait. And no pressure: a grieving family is entitled to time to think.
